Jacob Kiplimo and Joshua Cheptegei have on Sunday won the 16th edition of the United Airlines NYC Half, America’s largest half-marathon with about 25,000 finishers.

Kiplimo won the Gold after posting 1:01:31 and Cheptegei, in second position, took the silver after posting 1:02:09.

Kiplimo, 22, is the reigning World Athletics half-marathon and cross country champion, and Cheptegei, 26, is the reigning Olympic and World Athletics 10,000m champion.

Meanwhile, Kenya’s Hellen Obiri won the Gold in the Women’s Edition.
