This year’s winners of the Airtel FUFA Awards have this Saturday evening been rewarded at a glomorous event staged at Speke Resort Munyonyo presided over the Speaker of Parliament, Jacob Oulanyah.

Vipers’ Bobosi Byaruhanga has won the award for Male Player of the year while Fauzia Najjemba from Kampala Queens emerged the Female Player of the year.

Veteran journalist Mark Ssali took the Presidential Award. The Men Football Coach of the Year award went to Express FC’s Wasswa Bbosa and that of the Women football Coach of the Years won by Fred Musiime from Lady Doves FC.

Airtel FUFA Beach Soccer Player of the year is
Alex Emmanuel Wasswa (St. Lawrence University Beach Soccer Club) whereas Airtel FUFA Futsal Player of the year award went to Travis Mutyaba (Synergy Futsal Club).

Fahad Bayo from Ashdod FC has been crowned the Airtel FUFA Fans Favorite Ugandan Player. The Airtel FUFA Member Association Award went to Uganda Youth Football Association.
