Ugandan R&B and Contemporary R&B singer, An-Known will champion the upcoming 6th edition of the Tukonekitinge tour to Jinja in Eastern Uganda.
Dubbed Travel with An-Known to Tongolo, the tour will span two nights and a day from June 18 to June 19 this year at Tongolo Beach.
According to the organizers, the trip is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for revelers and at only Shs130,000, they will be treated to some of the most amazing and exciting adventures.
They will engage in water pedaling, explore the source of the Nile, Boat Ride, Campfire, Photography, music, nature walk, basketball and volleyball.
Others are football and soothing musical performances as well as providing them with transportation and accommodation.
Benard Musinguzi, the CEO Tukonekitinge, says the introduction of the song-writer and guitarist on board is intended to complete the fun.
“We decided to travel with An-Known to Tongolo in Jinja because he is currently among the best young musicians who are trending in the country and so, we wanted to give our people the best, ” Musinguzi says.
He explains that bringing the ‘Radio Call’ star is not only for leading in the adventurous trip but to as well treat the revelers to his sweet melodies.
“The people ought to be entertained by the best as they adventure in the Pearl of Africa. We thought that having a mixture of exciting entertainment and exploring the stone City in Jinja at the same time, is something that will bring more fan and life to domestic tourism,” Musinguzi notes.
He says they are embarking on changing the traditional way of adventuring by bringing the element of entertainment and exploiting things revelers haven’t seen or heard-of before.
This combination of entertainment and adventuring, he says, will go a long way in facilitating domestic tourism since it brings more fun.
