Rt. Hon. Richard Todwong, Secretary General of the National Resistance Movement, hosted the South Sudanese Ambassador to Uganda, H.E. Simon Juach Deng who paid him a courtesy visit at the party headquarters in Kampala, yesterday.

The two leaders discussed ways in which they can work together to promote peace, stability, and development in the region.

They also talked about how they could strengthen their political engagement with each other.

Both leaders agreed that when countries have a good relationship with each other, it benefits their people and their economies.

They further noted that Uganda and South Sudan have a rich history that needs to be comprehended for the next generation to reflect how far these two countries have come since independence from colonial rule in the 1960s.
